Well written account! I’ve never decided one way or the other about actually believing in Bigfoot, but I did have a profound experience in a deep forest not far from Mount Rainier in Washington. No recordings, but I will never forget the sound of that knocking combined with the intermittent howl/scream. They just kept repeating over and over back-and-forth. My dog was trying to hide underneath me, and the hair on the back of my head was prickling. There was no one for miles except my friend and I, late in the season for any campers but no snow yet. We were in a tent and trying to decide if we should book it out of there or stay put. After a while all the sounds quit and my dog calmed down. We slept good after that.!

Wow! It is amazing that once you share a story like this, you find that many people have had similar experiences. It’s one of those things that I believe most people will never experience and therefore never understand. So it is comforting to hear a similar tale, and know you’re not crazy! Thanks for the read!

Having hiked in Utah and California I learned to pay close attention to every noise (of lack of noise). Especially if the wildlife started behaving unusually. Definite red flags for me.

I had a creepy experience hiking and camping in Cranberry Glades park in WV just after dusk. No doubt you had a frightening encounter.

Hi Ian - Just listened to you on Sasquatch Chronicles. I really enjoyed hearing your experiences, and you did a great job telling them! I've never seen or heard a Sasquatch, but have had other strange things happen to me. As a Christian, I believe the Bible, which includes the Genesis 6 account of the fallen angels who mated with human women, producing giants. Not many pastors preach on this, but they should, because it helps to understand many other things in the Bible that, without this narrative, might not make complete sense. Genesis 6:12 says that God then saw that all flesh had been corrupted from His plan for earth; which implies that those fallen ones has corrupted the genome of all creatures. In Exodus 22:19 the Bible says God made the punishment of death for anyone who lies with a beast. I believe this was the beginning of Sasquatch, and I believe this is how they can disappear, etc., due to their supernatural abilities inherited from their fathers. I could go on, as I love digging deep into the Bible, but will end there; for now at least. Have a blessed night Ian, and thanks for relating your experiences.
